Matthew Van De Motter

After graduating from Lynchburg College in 1990, Matt began his career with Oppenheimer & Co. in New York City. A lifelong “Clevelander” at heart, he moved back home to go to work for Morgan Stanley and shortly thereafter helped form The Livingston Group at Morgan Stanley.

In 1999 Matt earned the title of First Vice President and later was promoted to Senior Vice President. In 2015 Matt become one of less than 250 advisors at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management to achieve the Family Wealth Director designation. He specializes in handling complex wealth planning needs for ultra-high net worth clients.

Matt is involved with The Cleveland Museum of Natural History and the Western Reserve Land Conservancy as well as a number of other conservancy organizations.

Matt and his wife Renee live in Pepper Pike with their three boys, Jack, Ty and Reece. Matt is an avid outdoorsman and enjoys fly fishing, bird hunting, skiing and golfing, especially with his family.
